Twitter is one of the most popular social networking sites in the world!! Right now, everything is about TWITTER. Forget MySpace, you need to be promoting yourself on Twitter – if you’re not, you should start ASAP! If you are one that just doesn’t “get” Twitter, we actually offer promotion packages to give you lots of help. They are paid packages, but it’s definitely worth it if you’re about your business. Promotion in itself is a full-time job and not everyone has the time to manage it.

FanPush is just another great site to help you push your music directly to Twitter. As the site says, “it’s like having your own digital street team”. You’ll have to create an account on the site in order to start using it. Once you set up your account you will be able to connect your Twitter account. Then you simply upload the tracks that you want to promote directly to the site.

On your tracks you can add a title, artist name and artwork. After that you’re finished. You’ve just created your first “campaign”. You’ll get a URL that you can share with the world and you can post a tweet right from the site about your new song.

FanPush lets users download your songs for FREE. So if it’s something you don’t want to give away, then  you shouldn’t upload it. One downside is that you have to BUY downloads to add to your songs. So if you want 50 people to download your song, that’s $5. It’s $10 for 120 downloads and $20 for 250 downloads. If you sign up now you’ll get 10 free downloads.

Create music promotion campaigns on FanPush.

Others can help spread the love and download your songs. They can also send a retweet from the site about your song and download. Also once someone downloads it, they will automatically be connected to you on Twitter and follow you. Pretty cool huh? Another great thing is that you can add more than 1 Twitter account. So if you manage a group of artists, you can add them all to your one account (as long as you have the passwords).

So there you have it! FanPush is a great way to freely distribute your music AND get more Twitter followers.
