Artist Spotlight: Tom Nicholas
Biography:
Tom Nicholas is a Folk/Acoustic musician from South West England. He started playing solo during mid-2009, and has played in a few local bands with a batch of self-penned songs. A lot of gigging, writing and rewriting ensued until he got to the recording of his debut EP.
After a summer of festival shows he went to April Media Productions in Plymouth to record the songs that had stood the test of time.
The 5 tracks on the EP draw on much folkier influences and make heavy use of the mandolin that’s become a highlight of the live show.
