If you’re really serious about your music career then you may want to take the next step and get a bachelors or get a masters degree in Music. There are lots of scholarships, grants and loan options out there if you’re really interested in going back to school. One school that I recommend looking into is the University of Redlands. It’s a university in Los Angeles that has an excellent reputation for their academic programs and strong leadership. One of their great programs just happens to be Music.

Their School of Music “is an accredited institutional member of the National Association of Schools of Music and offers a conservatory approach in a liberal arts setting”. If interested, you can get a Bachelor of Music in Performance, Composition or Music Education or a Bachelor of Arts with a Major in Music. If you want to pursue something else, you can also minor in music. Seeing that most of you reading this are music artists, you would probably best benefit from the Bachelor of Music in Performance or Composition.

Having a bachelors degree from an accredited top university and remarkable College of Arts & Sciences is sure to impress potential clients and employers. If you choose to get a degree in Music, you will be opening the door to lots of new and exciting opportunities. Plus, this really shows people that you mean business. This is a great step towards a rewarding career of doing something you love – making music.

Redlands University may be just one of the many schools that gives you the lucky chance to earn a university degree in music but, it’s also ranked as a top university on the Forbes list. If you’re in that region or thinking about relocating, definitely give this Southern California university a shot.
